HOW TO GET THERE:

By air:

Killarney is conveniently connected to several major airports in Ireland.


Kerry airport

  • Distance: 17km / 20-minute drive
  • By Car: Take the N22 towards Killarney and follow the signs to the town centre.
  • By Bus: Bus Éireann provides regular services from Kerry Airport to Killarney.
  • By Train: A short taxi ride will bring you to Farranfore Train Station, from which regular trains depart for Killarney. 

Cork airport

  • Distance: 90km / 1 hour 20 minutes by car
  • By Car: Take the N22 via Macroom and follow signs for Killarney.
  • By Bus: Direct bus services (Bus Éireann or private coaches) run from Cork Airport to Killarney town centre.
  • By Train: A bus or taxi will take you to Cork's Kent Station, where trains depart regularly for Killarney.

By train

Killarney is well-served by regular train services, making it a convenient option for delegates traveling from various parts of Ireland.


  • From Dublin: Direct trains depart from Heuston Station, with a journey time of approximately 3 hours.
  • From Cork: Trains from Cork Kent Station reach Killarney in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • From Limerick: Connecting services via Mallow provide access to Killarney in approximately 2.5 hours.
  • All trains arrive at Killarney Train Station, which is serviced by Gleneagle Shuttle Bus which will collect any delegates heading to Gleneagle. 

By bus

There are several convenient bus routes that will bring you directly to Killarney:


  • From Dublin: Dublin Coach and Bus Éireann operate direct services to Killarney.
  • From Cork: Bus Éireann and private coach services provide regular routes to Killarney.
  • From Shannon: Bus Éireann operates services from Shannon Airport.
  • From Kerry Airport: A short bus journey will bring you to Killarney town centre.

All buses arrive at the Killarney Bus Station, which is located just a short walk or taxi ride away from Gleneagle. is prominently displayed to assist with activating the charge.


By car

If you’re driving to Killarney, the road network offers easy access from all parts of Ireland:


  • From Dublin: Take the M7 to Limerick, then follow the N21 towards Killarney. Approximate journey time: 3.5 hours.
  • From Cork: Take the N22 via Macroom. Approximate journey time: 1 hour 20 minutes.
  • From Shannon/Limerick: Follow the N18 to Limerick, then the N21 and N23 to Killarney. Approximate journey time: 2 hours.


Parking is available on-site at the Gleneagle. There are five electric vehicle (EV) charging points. Conveniently located, three are situated in the events centre car park, with two dedicated to residents in the resident car park.

Each charger features dual sockets, and a user-friendly 'How to Use' guide is prominently displayed to assist with activating the charge.
